Lux Meeting Rooms - A New Kind of Co-Working
Finding the right office space can be stressful for business owners and professionals. In a world where working from home, coffee shops, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and private office suites are all considered the norm. Who’s to say which is right for you and your business? We definitely can’t make the final decision for you. But as the 2024 Best of the Valley co-working space’s winner, we do know a thing or two about office spaces.
We’re Lux Offices. We offer virtual offices, executive suites, daily meeting rooms, conference rooms, and small team spaces for rent in both Avondale and Scottsdale. We do rent meeting rooms starting at just $35/hour, but we’re not your traditional co-working environment. Many of our tenants are attorneys, real estate agents, financial advisors, therapists, and others whose ethical standards of practice require them to place a high priority on their clients’ privacy. We honor this practice and pledge to provide private office suites, as well as private daily meeting rooms and conference rooms that can still serve as a flexible and collaborative working environment for the team. We’re a new kind of co-working space. Read on for a closer look at the key differences between traditional co-working spaces and Lux Office’s Meeting Rooms.
Traditional Co-working Spaces
Co-working spaces are designed to foster collaboration and flexibility. These environments are often open and shared among multiple individuals, teams, and even businesses. The atmosphere is typically vibrant, and modern, and there’s a mix of professionals from various industries working side by side. They usually have what’s called “hot desks”. This just means that every desk is up for grabs on a first-come, first-serve basis. So, you just sit anywhere.
Some co-working spaces have themes in different parts of the building. One area has an industrial vibe while another is all mid-century modern. Some have break room areas with microwaves. Some offer amenities like conference rooms and free parking. All offer a space to get out of the house and be around a lot of people, great for the extrovert low on energy. They’re good for networking with people you wouldn’t normally meet. They’re a great way to work in a professional environment without the cost or commitment of leasing an office.
The open and communal nature of co-working spaces can be a drawback for professionals though. With the constant flow of people and conversations, maintaining privacy can be challenging, if not impossible. That’s where our new way of co-working spaces comes in at Lux Offices.
